I dug 'way back into my storage and came up with this old .45 Blackhawk. Hadn't had it out in a few years, so wanted to give it a workout. I bought this in 1987. I had to get my dealer to order it, and before I ever saw it had it returned to Ruger for fitting the Super Blackhawk grip frame and a .45 ACP cylinder. In 1989 I had the action slicked up, added a Millett rear sight, and color case hardened by Doug Turnbull. Grips are gaboon ebony by Lett.
As of this morning's workwork, the mileage stands at 19,461 rounds fired. And I still use those stick-on pasters for targets for this gun.
