Ran into a few Grizzlies this weekend!

went snowmobile with my Eskimo friend, ran into a few muskox and caribou. but never thought the bears where out yet....but I was wrong...FNC

I would have thought they'd still be hibernating for another month or so...

as a normal rule, id agree. but the big ones come out early. there hungry...this one was sunning himself till a couple of rude guys woke him up...Ive seen them late as well, early Dec at minis 20 outside.

I spent a year in Alaska, but never saw a bear or moose, but I carried a gun on my walks, just in case.

I had bears in my yard. im northwest abit more.. although I don't live in the city of Anchorage. they routinely shot a half dozen a year in town.
