Quick help with price check value - found a nice clean 10/22

I found a nice clean 10/22 1976 or '77, very nice looking, no magazine though, they want about $270 for it.


would that be a pretty good price ????

Probably an okay price for California.... about 50-100 bucks too much for S.C. prices as of a year ago... who knows about now a days.

Since the price of a new plastic-and-birch one at Walmart (or other places on sale) runs around $200, I'd guess a nice walnut-and-metal one would be worth somewhere between that and $300. So $270 doesn't sound out of line, if it's nice (no rust, no dings in wood, etc.).

Should have been perfect for that much but prices have gone UP.
