Quick grip frame question

Which grip frame did the 38-40/10mm buckeye convertible have? Is it a standard Blackhawk or a Suoerblackhawk?

I don't have one in my collection, BUT, my one remaining brain
cell that works says "steel XR3-RED".

That fact make the gun in question a "step above" the "run of the mill"
examples.

I know I may get flamed for this but I am going to get a hogue rubber grip to make sure I like the size and shape and if so buy a wood grip that hogue makes that is the same size and shape as the rubber grip.

The plow handle grips are just the wrong size and shape for my large fingers. I prefer the looks of the factory grips function trumps form.

The 38-40 Buckeye is a great shooter as I'm sure you have found out. It's a good, old cartridge in a super gun.
