Question regarding .223

Hey guys, I have a Lee Loader for a .222, and I was wondering if I could use it to reload .223/5.56 ammo. I believe the neck is longer on the .222, I was thinking along the lines of 38/357. Please help me if you have ideas. Mcuas gracias! Su amigo...... Mexicanjoe!

I don't think so. There are other dimensions that are not equal, such as the diameter at the base of the shoulder. Do you have a reloading manual that shows cartridge dimensions? If so, compare all of them and you will see that the dies would not be compatible. If they were compatible, the dies would be sold as 222/223 rather than individual sets.
