Price for Single Six .32?

Found I used Ruger new model Single Six .32 Mag. Gun looks to be in excellent shape and is blued. With a slight ring on cylinder. What would a fair asking price be on this gun? Thanks

It depends on what format. Ruger made 'em in adjustable sight ("Blackhawk" type configuration but SS) in a variety of barrel lengths from 1984 to the 90s, when the fixed sight ("Vaquerito" style - not Ruger's term - with faux case hardening) took over - only in 4-5/8" (except recent special John Wayne Talo edition (3-3/4")). The fixed sights were made with both XR3-Red regular and special "short" grips, and birdshead models...What's yours? Except for special models (see above), the earlier adjustable sight types tend to bring a bit more $.

$450-550. $600-650 LNIB, (somebody might pay upwards of $700 for actual NIB/NWT). If just a slight turn ring and that's it, toward the upper end of those ranges. Toward the lower end if muzzle or aluminum ejector housing or gripframe (etc) wear showing. Just a guess; I haven't looked recently but others with more recent experience will chime in here,...and check completed listings on sites such as Gunbroker.

I know they made an adjustable sight (BH style) in blue with a 6.5" bbl in 1986... because I have one.

IIRC, adjustables were made in 4.62, 5.5, 6.5 and some 9-10.5s or so. I forget specifics on the latter. Not sure about 7.5. Also, a limited number of Bisleys.
My first .32 was a 5.5--one of the very first out of the chute after Ruger's intro in 1984. Stellar gun I foolishly sold years ago. .32 Vaqueritos now I also have a great fondness for.

I paid a bit under 4 bills for mine several years ago with the box and paper work. You could not pry it from me now. Next to guns I have with sentimental value this one has become my favorite.

I pulled the trigger and put money down on this one. Gander Mt was asking $350 and would not move on price.

But I love Ruger single actions and $350 was to good to pass up. Will get pics up when I get her home. Thanks Again!

Made in 1986. Very good price. The short barrel tends to be a little more in demand and can be a little higher.

Clean shooters can be found for $400 - $450. As stated, like-new with the box pushes it well over $500.

I have a couple of them, one with the 9-1/2" barrel and the other is a 5-1/2".
Excellent shooters. I load them exactly like I do my large bores. Cast bullets, Ball Powder, firm crimp.

You made a smart move by not letting that .32 get away!

I feel lucky that I found a nice gun at a good price! To answer the question on barrel length it is a 4 1/2" model.

Yep, you got a really good deal. I bought mine in 84 or 85 new with a 4 5/8 barrel. I also have a "shooter" grade one with some bluing wear that I picked up from a friend for $300 a few years back. I wouldn't trade either of mine.

That 4 5/8" was a great deal! In the past 2 months I've added a 9 1/2 and 4 5/8 to my 6 1/2, all blued and adj. sights. I'm holding the 9 1/2 NIB for the RugerForum East meet. Great shooters that can be hot rodded to boot. Ironically, they're all from '85.
