Welcome to the Forum.
Well, that low of a number puts it in the Type one Flatgate catagory. It would help if we had a few pics,,, but in general,, not too bad of a price. A bit higher than I'd hope to pay,,, but it would also depend upon a few things a collector looks for. Like, do I have a serial number consecutive to it? Do I need a Type One?
From what little you've described,, I'd say "maybe." Now if you want it,, go in with $500 cash & say; "I'll go $500 out the door." Oftentimes,,, cash talks loudly,,,!

Exactly how I'd approach it! If you want a creampuff it'll cost a whole lot more, but if you want a classic shooter, 500 is probably not the worst deal that's ever been made! ;)

welcome to the Forum, no, for that low a percentage of condition, thats a bit high, offer them less, the blue books prices drop down FAST and LOTS on "condition" issues.....good luck and as noted above it is indeed tough to find any type 1 flatgate............ssooooooo  how bad do YOU want it??

Thanks for the input. They acually want $595,got them to $550, not the easiest shop to deal with! I think i'm going to pass.
Thank's for your help
