Hey guys. I'm still looking around trying to figure out what I want to hunt with this fall. I recently found a LNIB Redhawk in .45. I believe the price on it is $650. I'm going to try to go look at it this weekend but he claims it's great. Anyone know if that's a fair price for it?

I just picked up one in 45 Colt with a 5 1/2" barrel for $550. That was in Georgia. It was darn near LNIB. Showed very minimal use and had the original box. Was very happy with the price for what I got.

I might give that for a Hunter with rings, complete with everything. I think we are going to see a lot more guns falling out of closets and being sold in the months ahead.

My local shop has a 7 1/2" bbl Redhawk Hunter w/rings in 44 mag for $550, if that helps you with price comparison.
I'd say the $650 would be a bit high for a used gun even if claimed to be LNIB.
JMHO of course.

I recently sold a 7.5" Redhawk Hunter with rings chambered in 45 Colt for $425. It had houge grips and I would rate in at 95% gun only no box.

Got to agree about the last post.
Would of loved to have added that to my little Redhawk collection.

Buckshot, I'm sorry to say, you left money on the table.

I agree, but was tired of trying to sell it. I started out asking $550 and finally agreed to an offer. I broke even at $425 so I was ok with that. Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay.

Too bad I couldn't find any guys like you when I was trying to sell the thing. Oh well like I said above I broke even so it's all good in my book.

What barrel length is it? That's more than I paid for a 4 inch barreled one a couple of years ago NIB. From what I have seen the 5.5 inch barrel ones seem to be in a little more demand. For what it's worth I was very fortunate a few months ago and found one of the 5.5 inch ones for around 4 bills.

Dang!!!

Wish I had known this before I bought mine!!!!

Oh well, such is my luck.

Tom :D
