Prayer request for my wife- update 2/20/17

My wife Debbie has been in the hospital for 11 days fighting an infection, Afib, and abdominal hernia. We thought we had turned the corner yesterday with her becoming coherent and alert again. Tonight the doctor tells me she has an abcessed bowl, one kidney not functioning and possibly dead, blood clot in abdominal aorta and she needs to be MedFlight to a Baton Rouge surgery specialist. We are waiting for the bed availability and helicopter arrival.
I ask for your prayers that we will pull through this and God willing, she will be able to come home soon.

That's quite a list of things to deal with in a lifetime, let alone all at once. Prayers come from SoCal that she makes it thru and recovers as fully as possible. Another one comes for your own strength, Jim, that you'll be able to help her thru all of this.

Surgery scheduled for tomorrow for the abcessed intestine. She will have the aorta repaired a couple days later if she tolerates this one but may lose a leg and a kidney due to loss of blood flow from a clot.
Thanks for the prayers. We aren't thru this yet.
