It would be nice if we got a response as to why a post is deleted here, so we know what we did wrong. I posted Trumps response to the bill that was sent to him. Seems reasonable to me. Otherwise people don't know what's going on.

I think people are getting tired of going to the political forum. Too many "trolls" that can say anything and get away with it, makes it not worth going to. At least for me. I would think a message from the president would be interesting for common knowledge. I've started posts in the political section. Just not worth it to me anymore. Our country is being taken over by socialists and there are people here who support it. I'm not going to "discuss" that with them, I'd prefer to avoid that section. If what the president has to say is not for common consumption let me know.

No. Been that way since I've been here.
All the previous political stuff you and others post in Lounge we have always moved or maybe deleted. If we missed one, it was just an accident.
Funny, nobody ever asked us why something was moved to Politics or thanked us for putting it in the correct section though.

I've put several posts in the political section. They weren't moved there or deleted. The 4 minute speech from the president on what's happening to money to help people whose businesses have been closed seemed to be a common interest. Apparently it was just deleted.
Just FYI for all ..... any and all COVID related threads that get started here are moved to Politics and then merged with the one COVID thread.

I do believe it has a lot to do with perception too. I posted about: "How the CORONA virus vaccine was developed." It was an explanation of how this vaccine was developed faster that most. Information only and it was moved, simply I assume, because it had the word 'CORONA' or 'virus' in the title. nothing Political about it, just information.

I,,, like so many,, get tired of the politics from time to time. And I don't always go to the Political section,, just because I'm tired of the same old, same old. And if it's important,, or if I feel the need,, I do go there to see what's being said,, and I do occasionally comment.
I for one appreciate how we do have the Politics as a separate section so I can CHOOSE to visit it or not.

Not true, I certainly don't go to the political section by choice. The lounge isn't the place to put political ideology found on youtube. It gets old real fast.
