I just got a p94 and while I was looking it over I removed the grips and found that the left grip had been "hollowed out" to allow for a spring to fit. the "hollowed out" part didn't look very professional and appeared to be more like a "bubba" job.
The spring in question appears to be the "trigger bar spring" but since I am unfamiliar with the p94 I am uncertain if it is the correct spring. It makes a large loop down towards the grip and probably wouldn't fit right without the hollowed out part.
I took the grips off my p85 and p89 and neither have a spring like the one on the p94. I also took the grips off my p90 and it has a spring more similar but it doesn't have a large loop like the p94 has.
Is this the way the p94 is supposed to be?
