I just received some pictures of some grips made by a company or someone named Sergeant Violin made in the early 80's. They look like Confederate and American flags. I'll post some pics. Is the hole spacing the same for the Colt 1911 and the Ruger? Some of them look like military insignias.

Yes, all 1911's copies of John Brownings masterpiece have rthe same spacing. If it fits a Colt, it'll fit a Ruger.
