I looked inside a open bolt in a 1911 type pistol and almost would swear it didn't have a ramp to feed the cartridge
into the chamber. Is that possible? He closed it too quick to leave. I didn't know him well enough,I was also embarrased
to ask. Lee

And Ruger uses a Titanium insert in the ramp area of its LW Commander and Nightwatchman Commander with the LW frame.

I have read many posts at 1911 F, 10mm F pistol smith and so on, barrel ramp so far not one complaint about bad feeding.
Others have posted with caveats, I heard, I read but never saw a ruptured case from any 1911 or 10 other than Glocks.
Yesterday I read of a special resize die,to me its for idiots, to resize the bulge in the case from a glock to reload it.
The gun is designed not to have reloads, correct me if I.m wrong.
