I managed a few pics of most of the displays at the ROCS show during the OGCA show this past weekend. They are posted in the Gallery section. Enjoy!

I guess that nobody wanted to do a Bearcat display this time.
So, I guess you should have done one!

:D :D :D
Would have loved to but little things like my COPD, the travel, and the inability to haul much physically slows me to a crawl. An example was last year at the Gathering. While firing at the far range I had an 'episode' and laid on the ground for about five minutes. No one saw me so I had to wait till I could catch my breath and use my inhaler. Doesn't take much to set off a chain of events that can be 'unpleasant'.

I should kick your butt for not telling me you had an episode. We CAN & WILL make sure you are watched over for your protection.

As for doing a show. I can assure you,, there is PLENTY of help there if you need it. We can help with carrying stuff in,, setting up, tear down, and carrying out. All you'd have to do is get there. Drag one of your grandson's out to help you get there & all. Bob Campbell used to use a motorized chair when he'd come & wasn't able to do much. He had plenty of help too!

There was a gentleman at the show,, whom I recall used to do a display. He hasn't in a while,, but he was still coming & had a sale table. He is 96 yrs young right now.

My point is we'd love to have you & anyone else who can & should put on a display. It's SAD to see so many good POTENTIAL ruger fans who could do a display & enjoy a fine show along with the fellowship we enjoy, not do a display.

I would love to see Frank do a Bearcat display. Last year at Huntsville I had lots of help setting up and Ron in Pa helped me tear down and get my stuff out to the car most folks are more than willing to help.

I had seriously thought about setting up a display for the next Harrisburg show, then the show was scrapped. Tulsa is way too far for Linda and I. Rocket City is also a haul. So I guess the only option is to get an invite to the OGCA next year. If I start now I may have something ready by next July.
