Greetings to all. Just recently picked up two early Single-Six revolvers in excellent condition.
In the pic below the top revolver shown is a Single-Six "Magnum" made in 1964, and the bottom pic is a Single-Six "Standard" model made in 1955.
There wasn't much interest in the Single-Sixes" so I got both for about $500 out the door.

The issue is with the Magnum model. Some previous owner in the past used a "Harbor Freight" Chinese screwdriver to take the pistol apart and really buggered up all the lower frame screws and the three frame screws.
Anyone have a nice set of screws or know where I can order some?
Cheers, Coup

Thanks 👍 ebay was $49 plus shipping for a set of used screws. Ouch 🤕
The used screws are just as buggered up as the ones I already have.

Very nice and you did good.
I'm curious as to why you call the top one a Magnum?? Per my info both are Single-Sixs. The top one was made per the s/n in 1963 (which was probably a convertible) and the other one in 1959 (22LR). Hard to tell, but does the top one have a XR3 or XR3-RED grip frame.
Anyway both look GREAT.

Personally, I wouldn't be to hasty. I have seen much worse than those screws. JMHO😊

I have "restored" new model screws by protecting the threads with heat shrink, then chucking them up in my cordless drill, running them against a piece of fine sandpaper in my hand to smooth them out, and then either polishing them and cold bluing or going straight to bluing. Sometimes on bad ones you have to use a file or even tap down burrs. I've only done this on grip frame screws, but I don't see why it wouldn't work on the action screws. If you've got a spare set of buggered up screws it wouldn't hurt to try!
