Picked up an Old Model Single Six 3 screw

This gun has a 5 digit serial number in the 30,000 range putting it's manufacture date in 1956. The gun has a great patina with no rust or pitting, just honest bluing wear. It is unconverted and everything appears original. I paid $280 for it. Good price? It is a great shooter.

I know you stole it! :mrgreen: Those grips alone are worth $125 of the $280!

Welcome to the Forum........ NIce gun, a GREAT deal and as noted above, those grips are later ones from a .44 mag flatop, you can see the "scroll' at the top, rear of the grips as well as the "finish".....you done very,very good,,,we like it, and I BET it will be a GOOD shooter, them old ones are pretty accurate............

Looks like in then right light there is some of that Plumb coloring on the main frame that I personally think is AWESOME! Great Single-Six, and You're right. They are one heck of a great shooter! That bullet goes right where You tell it to. I like shooting little .22 shell boxes from long distance. The accuracy is addictive.
