Is anyone else continuously having problems with photo bucket? I keep getting client error.
Thanks

Photo bucket is problematic and sometimes unusable so I have gone to Picture Trail which is very easy to use and not saturated with ads.

I too have issues all the time, hard to upload, and then find it !!! if it even gets uploaded at all, its all out of sorts wish I could get all my pictures out of there and onto or into some other site........
heck I still have an account with them that is another user name and an "unknown" password, had help a few years ago from someone here on the forum, but now its in "limbo", I HATE this computer crap....reason I still have a flip phone !!!

No problems other than all the ads. I've decided, just today, to look for another site.
I'll say. Too many adds. It is often a bit slow which could be all the adds or it takes a few tries to get it going.

I usually do not have issues with PhotoBucket

BUT have found PostImage.org far easier and very quick to use

When someone starts a thread posting a picture, and I open the thread and there's no picture, I know they're using Photobucket.

Been using it for many years. I don't get ads at all on my computer. I am sure this is the issue....their ads are taking all the bandwidth and processor away from you. Every once and a while it takes a couple minutes for an uploaded image to show up there for use, no biggie.

I happen to believe when you read "can't post pics on this forum" on any website....the poster should have written "I don't know how to post pics nor do I care to learn". When someone writes "no pics now, photobucket is down" he really means "I've read on the internet photobucket is hard to use so I'll say it's down instead of taking five minutes to post a picture".

Computers aren't hard if you experiment. I think some people are afraid of "breaking" one by clicking on the "wrong" thing.

Slow lately, lots of annoying ads, and sometimes hard to upload, but it DOES work, more or less. The other night I found out it works a little better on Google Chrome than on AOL or Explorer.

I suggested that he set his Photobucket to "Private". I went there and looked at a bunch of his photos (he has 83 pages in his Library). I would bet that I could have deleted one had I wanted to.

You have to be logged in as him to add, delete, or move pics.

I have been meaning to check out some of the other picture hosting sites. As others have said Photobucket just has so many ads it slows everything down. I get aggravated with it.

I use Photobucket a bunch but really need to get off of there, I have had increasing amounts of frustration, dang thing just stalls out, hard to get anything uploaded or shared

Well Don. if you can afford $5 month, you can have your own web site.

I tried Earthlink and found them to be "less than optimal". Tried a few
others and had similar issues. I now use 1and1 with zero problems,
for the last fifteen years. :D

You can go with the full blown web site, or just some storage space.
I went with the full site because I have some other items I want available.

In fact, they have a one year intro for $.99/mo if you pay for a year
(call it $12). If you decide it is not worth it, just drop it. :D
(they have donlovel.info available)

The popup ads when you are trying to do something like browsing or uploading files are very annoying. Adblock Plus doesn't seem to have any effect on them. If they continue increasing their ads I will move my photos elsewhere. There are several options besides Photobucket.
