After I took our ohio CCW course, I looked beyond, way beyond. We have some here in that biz.. At the moment, my loved one is getting on a jet in Tampa, to fly to Detroit, then to Erie. Where friends will pick her up. The friend is a Deputy here. He is trusted. I am all most ill at having my "primary" so far beyond my care. My dog, Is in the same boat, she is WAY off her feed, with her primary peep, so far away. Miserable, to say the least.

She got home more than an hr late. Flight to Detroit 15 minutes late. Ran to gate with only 15 minutes of time to board. Then Capt tells passengers to deplane, tech issues. They all troup a few gates down to a standby aircraft. I've lately learned to text, since latest semi-smart phone has that capability(you can laugh). Been wearing out them itty-bitty buttons this last week. Sigh.

If you can get a SKYPE acount set up. My oldest left for Germany for six months two weeks ago today. So far, we have had three visits over the internet and we get to not only hear her for free, but see her too. A reeally great use of technology and worth the minutes it takes to get set up. TD

Skype is the way to go. Mine has been in Japan for over a year now. The wife messages with facebook all the time, but I don't touch that.
