Personal picture thread

I think HOA's serve a good purpose, especially in places without zoning laws or very loose zoning laws. I had a friend who lived outside of San Antonio years ago who built a beautiful big home, only to have a crappy gas station built on adjacent land. At least within the land covered by the HOA they can prevent some of what would degrade the value of everyone's properties. I think the real problem is that it is the Karens of the world who seek power on the HOA board, while the good folks don't want to be bothered with the hassles of serving on the board.
I call those Karens the Clipboard people.
