Anyone here have any experience with Perfecta ammo? I'm curious as to their QC with a mind towards reloading but would like input prior to buying a bunch of it. Any info is appreciated.

When it was available, I bought and shot some Perfecta in 9mm and .357 magnum. It was made in Italy and word on the street was it was made by Fiocchi. I had good luck with it, and with the brass which was subsequently reloaded in the .357 magnum caliber.

Sadly, it no longer seems to be available at any of our local Wally Worlds.

I still have a lot of .223 and my AR loves them. Very accurate and consistent. Used to also buy 9mm, but I haven't found either in a while. I too use the brass for .38 and .357 for reloading.

Yep, no issues here. Shoots and reloads just fine. I don't see it around here anymore either. First saw it offered in the WMs around here in 2015 on Rollback pricing.
$6.94 for 50 in 9mm
$8.94 for 50 in 45acp
$8.94 for 50 in .223
There were no limits at the time so I bought all I could every time I saw it. Ended up with just shy of 4 cases of 9mm, almost 2 and a half cases of .223, and a case and a piece of the 45acp. Would have loved to find more of the 45 as it's unbelievably accurate. Still have some.

I logged on to the forum today to ask the excact same question. I bought two boxes of 357 from Walmart about six months ago. I shot one box almost immediately using my GP100 with no problems. Accuracy was good. I shot the second box this past Sunday using my S&W 66-2 with much different results. Accuracy was fine but 10 of the 50 rounds jammed the revolver. After firing I could not easily pull back the hammer or swing open the cylinder. I had to use way more force than I was comfortable with to pull back the hammer and rotate the cylinder. I inspected the problem cases and found that the primers were all distorted and bulging. Even the ones that didn't jam the revolver had primers with weird waves and bulging primers. Some of the primers bulged so much they pushed back into the firing pin hole. The gap between the primer and the frame was a bit larger on the GP so it didn't have the same issue that the S&W did. I save my brass so I went and found the brass that I fired from the GP. It had the same distorted and bulging primers. All of my other old brass (different brands) have nice flat primers with clean dimples.
I won't be buying any more.
