Just out of curiosity, can someone tell me why members here are single sixers ,blackhawks,buckeyes, etc.?

I don't know the order.
I’ve never looked into it, but I always thought it was based on models from smaller to larger or cost.

You can edit it to say whatever you want...If for some reason it bothers you.

So, besides someone actually posting the count number to get to a certain point and rank... what are all the different titles one can achieve.... I presume I can look up a Contender thread and find the top one....

Post count is where the ranking came from long ago. Our dear departed friend & former owner "FlatGate" gave a few of us the handle of "Ruger Guru" as an honorary title because of how some of us were hard core serious Ruger collectors or often very helpful to others.
It's a title I revere because of why he gave it to me.
Oh,, and during a few upgrades & changes around here to assist in managing the site,, a LOT of older posts disappeared & lowered the post count for all of us.

I could never understand why post count is so important to some.
It shows how active a member that person is on here. Back when I was actually buying guns and other items it was the first thing I looked at after I saw something in the classifieds I was interested in.
Yeah, Flatgate anointed me with Ruger Guru as well, back in the day. I lost over 11,000 in my post count when the server and software changed about 5 years ago.
I do believe that Flatgate came up with the level names. I have no idea where that list is maintained, but probably somewhere that requires Admin superpowers to see.
I saw it somewhere a few years ago, but that was probably three owners and two software changes back. I took a quick look a couple days ago, but didn't see anything.
