What would you do?
What would you do if you order something online and the next day the price is cheaper? Say the product goes on sale or they have a promotion, “buy one get one” for example.
This just happened to me. I ordered some clothes for Christmas presents for my wife and daughter Saturday night. It was $160 total.
Then on Sunday I get an email saying free hat for orders of $150 or more.
I emailed the company politely asking for a free hat. But they said sorry, no, and “we hope you understand.”
That was last night. So I emailed them again this morning and told them if I can’t get the free hat to cancel my order.
I haven’t heard back yet.
It’s probably a stupid hat anyway. But it’s also the point of the matter. I felt I spent enough, and just the way they wrote: “we hope you understand.” It just got to me.
