Para 1911 expert commander

I'm looking into getting one....I have read countless reviews.
Anybody on here actually own one...What's your thoughts?

I own a Para 12/45 and can tell you it is a very fine weapon. If the one you are posting about is anything like my Para..........get it!
I had a Para 14/45 for a while, great pistol, better trade value.

I have had a 10/45, 12/45, 14/45 and a 14/45 Limited. All were fine guns with the exception of the 10/45, many failure to chamber and or extract. Let them go when I caught the Ruger custom bug.

Have had a couple, still have a 5" 14.45 and will not sell it. It is very accurate and consistent and fits my hand like glue, which matters. Never had any issues and now Remington is not only warranty-ing them (with Rem parts where applicable), they will reportedly be building Para designs with Remington logos.
Get one now with a better-than-market Match barrel, IMO they are a great bargain.

It's been a while since I got a 12/45 and I could never get it to run right. I would have sold it, but couldn't sell something that I felt was a dog.
I installed the the receiver in a mech-tec carbine and that combo worked fine.

I concur with everything you said. Have the 14.45 Limited which is why I don't have the Ruger or any other 1911.

Just got off the phone with Para they are moving everything to Huntsville Alabama & the name Para will be dropped
They will be under the umbrella of... "The Freedom Group"
