Went to the Waterville Maine gun show yesterday a dealer had a pair of NIB 357 Max. One 10.5 and one 7.5 in. barrels asking price 2500 for the pair. With box, shipper and all the goodies. I like them but beyond my budget. Is this a fair price? ps

Was thinking the same thing he had others Single Six w/factory stags couple of Buckeyes those were high also Just wasn't sure about the Maxies. Oh ya forgot to mention 4 boxes of ammo with them. Thanks ps

Could buy 2 pair for that...4 boxes of factory ammo could bring a couple hundred. Idaho prices is all I know.

Would love to know the serial #'s though If they are common Maxi's.........they are WAY HIGH. Ammo isn't that pricey, yet.

I almost went to that show but as usual for this one, it's always freezing cold. Not a great show usually either although ya never know.
I'll agree with all those above in that that's WAY high. Curious, what dealer had 'em?

I know, I know, but for whatever reason every time they have this show in the winter it's either bitter cold or a snowy mess. I passed going sat 'cause it was -7º when I got up. Was -14º this morning. Now if this show wasn't 2 hrs away and it was a better show, I'd maybe have layered up and made the ride. It wasn't, I didn't. I did, per usual, have a set of eyes there though. ;)

I know what you mean about the weather for the Waterville show. Two years ago was around -20 the fuel was jelling in my Duramax could go over 50mph.

Waterville is a small show I like it cause we don't get to many with a resonable driving distance. You never know whay you are gonna find. Lots of Winchester levers and resonable prices pick up some XTP,s Primers and some cleaning supplies.

There was a guy there from Eastern Maine Shooting Supply fairly new outfit. They make mostly cleaning rods, jags and related stuff. The rods are sweet all brass with Billet allum. cnc handles prices are resonable, Check them out sometime. I love home grown products. ps
