Pachmayr Gripper grips for my GP-100

I've been wanting to try some Pachmayr grips on my GP-100, specifically a softer version called The Gripper. However, in reading customers comments on Midway and Amazon, a number of people are saying that for some reason the Pachmayrs are not lining up with the screw holes on the GP-100 frame and they are sending them back..

Does anyone here have any experience with the Pachmayrs? Mine has all been on my Smith K-frames and I've never had a problem.

I have used, and still have Pachmary grips since 1980. Zero issues.

Why not just get the Hogue one-piece, which has no holes to align with?

I use the Hogues on my Super BH .44 Mags. And .45 Blackhawk 7.5" scoped.
