Recently picked up a P95 (used) and right away noticed the slack or slop the trigger has in the single action mode!! Is there ANYTHING that can be done about this? I don't have much experience with the P series pistols.
Maybe you could bend or replace the trigger bar spring? I'm not a gunsmith but that is all that really effects the trigger.
Do you know of anyone else that has a 95 you can compare to? Maybe yours has an issue? They still sell these new and as long as you ask the shop owner to dry fire he should let you.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out. More importantly is the gun functioning fine?
My P95 is the same--lots of slack in SA mode, but I've gotten used to the long travel and now really like the SA pull. I checked with a local gunsmith when I first got it, and he said he could smooth up the double action pull but could not do anything about the single action slack. Keep shooting it and I'll bet you get comfortable with it.
