p95 slide "jamed"?

hello;

putting my p95 back together but slide is jammed. ejector is down, slide will not come off frame. any suggestions?? repeat the ejector is down like it should be.

love tap with plastic mallet fixed problem.

You got it RP. Usually a few taps on the sides centers the barrel in the slide, I find the can get hooked it not centered very well. The topic comes up here every once in a while

But it's important to make sure the ejector is down before you whack it..... I've done the same thing twice over the years.
