I was going to give my old P95 to my son. The new store in town,CAL Ranch has the stainless p95 for $329. I went back to check & it was sold. They have the all blue for same price? Both are 15 rd. mags. I thought the blue is $30 less by list price? Is this common to price both the same???

Because of overwhelming demand Ruger has had to stop taking new orders until the end of May, so there is currently a supply and demand issue on pricing. A lot of folks would rather pay a few bucks more for a gun they want rather than hope one comes in a few weeks from now (and at what price?). And many gun stores too are probably paying a premium to their distributors just to get stock in the door.

Shouldn't be, but I suspect they were offering a deal on the stainless one... which I prefer. But nothing really wrong with the blue ones.... with them you get to watch em turn purple.

I have the blue one, my son wants it. The stainless looks alot better. No deal, normal price. They do have sales, but not on this one. They also had the cicuit judge, wood for $499 & the tuffy version for $569, they both list for same retail price. Just have strange pricing on guns, I guess? They have 5 blue p95's so I might just get one. Gun show this weekend ,so I will check the show out first.

I bought a used Stainless for around $250.00, that was 3 years ago but for a nice heavy 9mm you cant beat that. New at the LGS they seem to be $330-370 still a damn good price for a well built solid pistol.

The P95 is one of those firearms that I feel has come close to, if not reached "Legendary Status"

These things are generally NOT hit or miss with quality and they are one of those firearms like an AK.

Around here they go for, on average $350-$400 NIB You can get them for about 2 and a half bills to 300 used. The finish (blued vs stainless) usually reflects on the final price as well.

If you can find a P95 in stainless (KP95) and a decock only model used at the gun show... buy it.

My blue one is decock only. So newer ones have a safety? & decock? Not an expert on difference.

Here's one that belongs to one of my fellow Deputies that I did a detail strip clean and detail on .I don't know how old it is,but it is still a super reliable and accurate gun .It's blued and I rerally like the way it has aged .
Here's a couple pics.

My understanding is that all the new ones are safety models Toy but maybe someone here knows more about that.
I have a couple new unfired ones in the safe, both stainless and if you have trouble finding one I would take my money back on one of those, just PM me if you can't find one there.
