P944 question

I was just wondering if any p944 owners with the camblock style pistol have ever had any issues with the small plastic piece on the frame that retains the slide stop. Ihave been told this is the most refined of all p series but this little tab seems strange to me.

What are your thoughts.

I have one but have not used it yet. I would think Ruger will stand behind it. There are a lot of them out there and I have never heard bad things.

No problems with mine. Had it for years.
