P85 slide stop lever

I remember having the earliest P85 version with a different slide stop lever, which was changed by Ruger very quickly to the one that is always seen. When they did a Mk II conversion they would also substitute the new style one and keep the early one.

I have only seen one of the early style P85 with that stop since the last 20 years in person, and two for sale in the past on GunBroker.

Does anyone have one of these early P85 slide stops ? It looks more like something off of a P38, or CZ , not the flat one that is usually/always seen.

I already tried to get it from Contender. I have only seen one gun for sale with it on and none for sale as a piece part.

I want one bad too. :~(
 
Sorry I haven't gotten back into my parts where that elusive lever resides. A little thing called work rears it's head. That parts bin is on the bottom of the boxes,, so it takes a little movement to dig it out. By tomorrow maybe,,,!
