P345

I have been looking at getting a p345 and had a small detail question. I looked at one at a local gun store today and noticed that the grip had a molded in Ruger logo. However on the website it shows the logo as being color. I have looked at these on and off for the last two or three years and have never noticed the difference. Does any one know when they changed or if this comes on certain models. I know that it is a minor detail, but I am still curious.

All newer models have the black logo with just the letter "R", the red logo with the letters "SR" was discontinued. Both my 345's were made in 2009 and they have the red logo's.

Mine is Red and I never really liked it. But when I bought mine thats just the way it was and I otherwise loved the gun so I bought. Now if they brought back the DC only in SS with the new black lower I would have to buy one!
