Does anyone have experience with the P345 fitting a holster listed for another gun, such as Sig 220, etc?

The only holster I have that supposedly fits both is a Fobus. It's marked for a Sig Pro, and the package was marked for the P345 also. Works fine. Doesn't cover to the muzzle though. What I normally use is a Galco Cop series that fits all the P series I have. P 90, 94, 95, 97, & 345.

THe P345 will also fit the Blackhawk models for the Springfield XD.

I'll assume the XD 45, although the XD 45, XD Compact and XD Service Models all seem to be the same length of 7.3" w/ approx 4" barrels.

Thanks, guys, the XD especially, plus the FNP9 really open up the possibilities on holsters. Much obliged.

Glockmutt, is that holster a good fit? It looks real good with the P345. Also, is that holster for the XD45? I can get one from Pistol Gear for $39 + shipping. http://www.pistolgear.com/proddetail.php?prod=16BHA

This was just the standard XD holster model, I think they all fit regardless of caliber. Certain things are adjustable and I did use them to snug up the fit. The only thing I added, but probably isn't necessary is a couple strips of velcro (padded pile side) inside the top of the holster to snug things down a bit more. You can just see it in the right picture.

Thanks. You're right. It is a universal fit with no caliber option. The mag looks a bit different from yours, yours has a finger groove. But it is a Serpa and sure looks better than the Fobus Ruger offers on their website.

I went back and looked to see what you were talking about and I see they have modified the design a bit. Hopefully the interior dimensions are the same or this may not work as well. About the best outfit to deal with that make a holster that will fit without question is BladeTech. I had a P345 several years ago when they first came out and got a couple of holsters from them and they fit perfect. They may cost a few bucks more, but you get what you pay for.

I like the locking feature and paddle option of the Serpa, plus it looks good. I think Bladetechs cost about twice as much.

Glockmutt, does your Ruger lock into that holster? I found one locally and the rounded trigger guard kept mine from locking in. The Ruger would not fit any other XD holsters except one I didn't really want, or SIG holsters. I found a Fobus holster for the P345, but after forcing the pistol in it took two of us to get it out again. I bought the one I don't really like just to have a way to carry my gun. It is a Fobus XD belt holster with a tension screw, #SP11.

I have two P345's and they both lock into the holster. I had read about the fact it was a match on the Forum here somewhere. Maybe they changed something in the design. Mine is the CQC Holster for the Springfield XD Model C1210. I know the Fobus holster you speak of. I have the model SG/Pro. Two hands to get it out once it's in is not far off. I ended up cutting the inside knuckle off as you can see below. Works a lot easier now. You still get a good "click" when you insert the pistol so you know it's in there and secure.

Maybe the Serpa I tried was on the tight tolerence side. Too bad, too. The 345 fit nicely in that one. Thanks for the input, GM.

If you're looking for something to just carry and protect the gun and not necessarily fancy or stylish, I have a Blackhawk 'Ambi Nylon Hip Holster' that I originally bought for my P95. Seems to fit a P345 as well. Cost something like $23.99.

HEre's another option "Center-of-Mass"

XD 9 / .40 / .45 4” barrel
(also fits XD-M 9/.40/.45 3.8", Ruger P345, FNP 9/.40, Taurus PT 24/7, Bull Cherokee, Sig 20/22)

* “Will Fit” holsters are not designed for this specific gun; however it will fit and work properly.*
