I've read that some owners are removing the magazine disconnect and spring because of misfire issues. Is the magazine disconnect essential for safety? I've already sent my p345 to Prescott for adjustment once because of misfire. It again misfired twice just the other day during the shooting of 150 rounds. I'm thinking of removing this disconnect and spring. thx Jim

Well, I decided to take a look. Sheared a plunger. I took out the screw that holds the site. Bad idea. Loosen that screw so that it does not pressure the site; drift the site along to one side. There is this plunger underneath the site pressing against the site. It will probably shoot out. There is an additional spring which is above the magazine disconnect. Careful. thx Jim
