Probably the one that torques my jaws the most isthe ofice of my cancer dc. I'll get a call from some one in NYC wanting to confirm my appointment. I'm in Arizona, my doc is in Arizona, why not have someone here in TUCSON AZ call to confirm the appointment.I get a average of 10 to 15 calls a day wanting to sign me up for medicare. There are calls from about 6 to 8 cities, towns and villages in AZ and I lost count of the calls from all over hell and gone. That's why when there's a call from NYC, I try to remember that one may be legit.
Now I've confirmed I will be a show up, usually within the hour get a text to fill out the check in form which has about 15 pages and I've never had one finish up properly so have to do the check in thing again at the Dr's office.
One more gripe abut that that medicare BS that would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. At least a half dozen times when they've called I see my name and my phone number on the caller ID. Gee, I just called me to try and sell me something I don't want. I would love to find the source of those calls. Not sure I'd hire a lawyer or just go and kick some ass. The latter would be most satisfying.
