GG, I read your post just now and it sounds like you are doing the right things and trying to get this whole thing done one thing at a time and also thinking down the road for your Mom and your self. I feel for you guy and it makes me think of what I had to do with my folks a few years ago. First I lost my Dad and 2 years later Iost my Mom. What really sucked for me was I'm in CA and my folks were in Mass. It still bothers me that I was so far away and didn't spend more time with them. Every year around April 18th, I would always go back and visit them for at least a week. The 18th was her birthday and also their wedding anniversary since they got married on her birthday. But now they are both passed. Up until recently I always had the urge to call her on a Sunday afternoon as that is what I always did. Sorry I am boring you with all this. What I'm trying to say is once they are gone, you can't call them any more.....As for your Mom, it sounds good what you are planning....As for your Dad, he sounds like a great guy, and you are correct in that the world is a different place without him. This world needs more guys like "Mr. Dan"....But his spirit is still here. This whole thing probably gives you a very surreal type of feeling. I know it did with me....Just take it a day at a time, and you and your family will get through this....Take care, Steve
