What's you guys best estimate on the value of original XR3 flattop gripframes with grips, in good condition?

Grip Frame $75-100 and a really nice one $125
Wood Grips $60-80
Hard Rubber grips $70-90

Thanks, that's in the ballpark I was thinking, too. I was thinking maybe $160 or so for my best one, got another one not such great shape, maybe more like $120 for it.

I know a collector who sold several mint frames with grips for $200 a set ten years ago and he never kept any of them for very long.

Current RENE price guide shows XR3 grip frame with hard rubber (black plastic) grips at $245.

Mine both have walnut grips. I may post at least one of them for sale soon.

RENE currently shows XR3 "hard rubber" panels at $115, and similar walnut panels at $125.

As always, the RENE prices are for the "really good stuff". I have purchased XR3 grip frames and panels (both types) here for less than the RENE prices, but they were not top-of-the-line quality. I got exactly what I paid for and am quite happy with the transactions.

yessir, as 'Ale-8' notes, in fact, the condition, much like any gun itself, is EVERYTHING, I've sold the frames, almost like new (maybe better than came on some guns) for as high as $150 and I have sold used ones, for shooters in the $50-75 range.......alll to make a gun "back to normal" (vintage) or for one that may be "perfect" in alll other ways, ( no blue wear) but the frame is dinged, banged up ,worn ,etc...........
same goes for the grips, as well as any and alll 'other' change-able parts.....some call it "detailing" or "upgrading" , we prefer 'TLC'.......
NOTHING wrong with having "nice stuff........"

( this is why one must always look at the 'screws' and their surrounding holes, as this is where the "changes" show up, most cannot help ,but "booger' the screws...........) 8)
