Just got these ring lizard grips for my p238 I like them should I change the grip screws to stainless ?

It's your handgun, who cares what anyone thinks about upgrades. My opinion is you are considering them. Buy them, put them on and you like or don't. If they were same color as mag. release and slide, they might look really nice. Work guns and SD guns for me it's all about function over any looks.

....accent, two tone, pimp your ride, it would look more in line with the "other" bright parts ( slide included) your gun, your money , you thought about ,so it is "on your mind"....go for it,,,,, me, I don't like " torx, allen heads", I'm old fashioned, and like slots, that are NOT "boogered".....BUT that being said ,for the folks out there "anal" enough to take their guns apart at every and any chance they get, they WILL "booger" the slots, as they are always in a big hurry, use whatever "Sears" screwdriver they got handy ,laying on the bench,,,,,,, so "torx" and "allen" do work from a service aspect, and the color, I like "shiny"..........Have a nice, safe ,holiday weekend...........(y)(y):cool:

They look fine to me as is but as others have said, it's your gun so do with it as you like it. My opinion doesn't mean squat in the scheme of things other than it's just my opinion.

I would polish them for free and try them. If I didn't like it I would darken them for free and be back to square one...for free.

As long as you can get the stainless grip screws to match the finish of the rest of the stainless, it might look good. My initial impression was no, as I don’t think stainless will look good against the grip material. But you won’t know until you try.
