To go with t-bone steaks and salad...

A bottle of rum, and a bottle of bourbon from the new local distillery, Thumb Butte Distillery. Haven't had it before, so we'll see how it is.

Yes. And their taste-testing room is now open. 8)
Here's hoping they come out with a winter release bourbon for the fireside evenings.
 
As far as the bourbon, I don't know how long this was aged - not long, I guess, but it's not harsh. A little on the sweet side, but not nearly to the extent that Maker's 46 is sweet. And definite oak taste.

All in all, I like it. And my wife likes it, which is a miracle. And the rum was very drinkable, though I haven't been a rum drinker for many years.
