OM 9mm question

Did all the old model 9mm cylinders have the firing pin grove in the rear ratchet area? Or were they flat like the new model cylinders?

I'm thinking they are all flat like the NM's. I could be wrong as I'm using my faded memory. But the ones I have are all flat.

I just looked at 2 OM 9mm cylinders and they are both "flat", no FP groove.

If were're talking OM BHs, the one in my 357/9MM convertable has no grove.

I think the 357 is the only OM that has the flat cylinders. So the gap between the recoil shield and the Cylinder.
