hi guys , i have a old Delta Milwaukee super-hi
drill press i, serial # 35-7115 .
any ideas where I can buy a drive belt ??
many thanks,

Is it a V-belt or a Flat belt? If it's a v, take the old one to your local Auto store and they will be able to find you one. If it's a flat belt tell me and I'll be able to help you.

If its a flat belt take it to a vacuum cleaner shop. I find odd sized flat belts there when needed.

As said above any good auto parts store should be able to find a belt for you. Take the old belt or if there is no belt run a piece of clothesline through the pulleys and mark the length. Clothesline is wider and sits in roughly the same spots on the pulleys as a belt. String sits lower in the pulleys and affects your measurements I am not talking about the big box auto parts companies. Many of them don't have the old paper catalogs and measuring gauges to find the right belt. A small independent store or even a NAPA store is where you want to go. Then you have to get a clerk that has the knowledge and WANTS to help.
I manage a small store for a corporate entity and have done it many times.
If you can't find it PM me and I'll be glad to help.

They also make V belts that are adjustable. They also help with vibration. http://m.harborfreight.com/vibration-free-link-belt-43771.html?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided

Or like this:

I've put these on my drill press and they work very well.

I have had these on my table saws, band saw, and drill press for many years. (Custom furniture and accessories shop) I highly recommend them.
