Old BH box cleaning ?

Hi I have a old non catalog Blackhawk box that I'm thinking about trying to clean up the yellow is faded but not real bad I was wondering what I might use to bring it back to a little brighter look without making it worse My thoughts were a very light oil or maybe some sort of light polish or wax has anyone here tried anything on one of these I'm just afraid I will lift the paper finish if I mess with it

Do NOT use an oil anything.

Lighter fluid is recommended,, and used carefully, applied to a towel & used to wipe away stuff. Light wax after won't hurt it. Make sure it's a clear wax w/o any oils in it.

Try Rennwax it won't hurt anything....you need to clean it first....I have used semichrome polish lightly to clean boxes then used the ren wax after.....go slow....good luck RR
