Unfortunately, Ruger has never told production figures of their regularly produced items. But for the short barreled Old Army, it would be thousands of each.

Yeah...I don't see any fixed sight Old Army's out there anymore. But Ruger made over 12,000 of all models. You'd think you would see them a little more often, but just goes to show that they are hung up in the closet and/or being used. If Ruger started making them again I'm sure they'd sell at least a few thousand more.

Ruger is too busy making what's already in the catalog to tool up for anything speculative. They stopped taking orders until they can work through several months of backlog.
Right or wrong from a nostalgic point of view, the new mindset of making what the public wants to buy rather than what WBR thought they should have seems to be paying off.
