I used to gig a bunch of frogs in the Mobile delta, lots of gators, also a good many nutrias, it was illegal to shoot frogs with a 22 but I carried a 22 revolver with cb longs to shoot nutrias, left them for the gators.

Why Mikey? If you remember correctly, they gave Mikey some new-to-them Life cereal because Mikey "doesn't like ANYTHING", only to find that "Mikey likes it, he really likes it!".

I was a Yankee who went south for the first time for my job in 1962. I seen those Nutria for the first time in Louisiana. It wasn't long before I got the impression Southerners would eat anything that walked, crawled or grew. Absolutely nothing was safe!

when I was in the Navy up in Bainbridge, Md and he introduced me to
Chucks. His wife gave us a recipe and it turned out pretty good.

I've eaten all sorts from alligator (delicious) to tree rats, both kinds, that is cat squirrel and the bigger red, of course deer, man do I love deer sausage to quail and on and on...
