Does the NRA still send out membership cards? I renewed my yearly membership this past spring. They charged my credit card, I get the Magazine, just got it yesterday in fact. But have not received anything else. I renewed online, I never got a confirmation email or letter or anything. Just the magazine.

Oh, and now I get lots and lots of spam and “political calls.” On my cell phone. I can’t say it’s related, but sort of odd really.

You can go to Member Services, and have your name removed from any solicitations. Just be patient, and it will happen. The phone calls & such are farmed out to a separate company and it takes time to get them the info.

We'd join around here,,, but we just added our last lifer in the form of my granddaughter a while back. All of us are lifers of different levels.

BUT,,,,, if you are already a member and want to help,,, find a friend who would like to join, or who is a fence sitter,,, and ask them if they'd like a membership. Then buy THEM a membership. That's my plan,,, as I have just such a friend in mind.

Hello,
My daughter will be 16 in August and I am going to get her a life membership. What is the difference in the regular and junior life memberships? I am thinking I would just go with the regular life but don't know the difference in them. Can anyone please clarify this for me?

Hello, and sorry I did not get to this earlier.

There is not much difference between Junior Life and Regular life.

This page shows what features Junior Life has:

Then this page shows regular life. (not very clearly though).

I do believe the Junior Life was / is a way for families to get their children signed up at a less expensive rate than regular life. The Junior Life was at $750 (now $500 thru my link) and regular Life is at $1500 (now $600 thru my link).

Once she is a Junior life member, she will not loose that level when she turns 18. She / you should still get the offers in snail mail offering upgrading to the next levels at very reduced rates. So do not throw that snail mail away without glimpsing at it first.

I guess for the $100 price difference, I would get the regular Life. Just my 2 cents.

And yes, I know this is not a very clear comparison of the 2 levels, but I believe that the NRA is somewhat scrambling to rearrange and clean up the spots abandoned by the few vendors and affiliates that jumped ship due to the media assault on them. So right now the info they show online is somewhat vague. But I believe we all know the good the NRA does.
