Well, it took some few months, but I finally found a good deal on the Ruger LCRX 3" .22

I picked it up yesterday and went straight to the range. Stiff double action, but most of my use will be in single action and that trigger pull is actually quite good, a bit heavier than perfect, but crisp.

I shot it with a variety of ammo and settled on CCI's Velocitor as the best for now.

I have one too. The trigger takes some practice but it is not too heavy. I practice double action to have the feel and learn the trigger. In a self defense situation you would never feel it. For potting squirrels single action is likely best :) I find it to be quite accurate and reliable. It seems to shoot any ammo I put through it. I really like it. Good luck!
