.........made by Olympic Arms. It has a lower made specifically for Glock magazines, which is what I noticed when looking at rifles on the rack. Built as a flattop, M4 style carbine. Came with an ARMS folding rear sight, and one real Glock G17 magazine. Looks like new, so much so that I thought it was new at first. My buddy who runs the shop had to tell me it was used, or I doubt I would have known.

Paid $785 out the door. The rear sight runs about a hundred clams on its own, so I am thinking I did all right.

Oh, it functions great btw, ran 100 rounds through it so far with zero issues. Of course 100 rounds is just a warmup but a nice start nonetheless.

PS: anyone know of better prices on magazines other than Natchez?

Check with www.cdnninvestments.com

They have both genuine Glock and Asian Glock magazines, 17 and 33 round versions of both.

9mm AR's are alot of fun. Cheap to shoot and enough recoil that you know your shooting something. I have not taken mine out rabbit hunting but it should be great for bunnies. If you have an IPSC club near you try the rifle in the PCC class.

My first thought would be where to get the barrel shortened and threaded for a can. :)

My first thought too, but not practical with the powers that be on the "Wet Side" unfortunately.

Cans are a gray area here. Without going into a lot of detail, the laws re: cans are not clear and being challenged by sportsmen currently.

The other issue is SBRs. Only legal if it was owned and registered before a certain date.

Ten miles away, across the line in Oregon, both cans and short barrels are tolerated. Maybe we ought to move!

Tony,

I have one of those Olympic AR 9mms. I have picked up about 15-20 of those Glock 33-rounds mags. I put a Slide Fire stock on mine...sure is a hoot to shoot. I put a red dot on top of it and I can really keep all 33 rounds on the target...in about 2 seconds with that Slide Fire Solutions stock.

That sounds like a lot of fun! So far I have an even half dozen of the 33 round mags, all Glock factory jobs. I want to try a few of the Korean knockoffs, just to see how well those work, but will continue to buy OEM Happy Sticks!
