Non prefix #1 value

My uncle has a Ruger 218 Bee that is basically a new gun with the box, and he is trying to get a value on it for insurance. He says the serial number dates it to 1969. It's a beautiful gun I told him I would be more than happy to take off his hands, but he just laughs. Any help with a value would be greatly appreciated

I don't think it would be 69. Wrong caliber and box. It must be 90's

except for the fact the 'prefix' came after 1969.....which makes it after the third year of production

possibly reboxed?? re-labeled?? shipped later........

re-barreled?? re-chambered?? a letter should say what it shipped as.....

There weren't any .218 Bee's until after 132-80000.

Hard to tell but is that butt pad a Red or Brown/red?

What does the little white strip of paper on the box say?

That checkering pattern is later than the early guns , but I'm not sure when that changed.

Might be a 1969 action/ sn# that was used to make up what one wanted but not available OR ???
A letter from Ruger to get the details is in order.

My dad went over and looked at it and the serial number is in the 132-93XXX range. Goes to show how much attention I give a #1.
