By the way, the holsters are, from left to right: Hipshot model from Doc Barranti, my custom design from Doc Barranti, and my custom design from American Classic Gun Leather. My custom rigs are from my input via email in my search for my perfect holste for daily carrying. The cuffs on the two middle ones are more ornamental but do add some stiffness to the carry position.

Well, I have no boots with basket weave pattern, but do have tan and dark brown. My dark brown boots are Justins and I figure them over thirty years old!

No, that is just the extension of the skirt. This is a variation on the Brill design that I requested. The Brill design has the skirt extended below the pouch and stitched to the bottom of the pouch, and the toe is sewn shut. I had asked Alex to cut that skirt short to just past the cuff, but he overlooked that. However, I find that extension helps keep the holster in place, so have not asked him to cut it short.

Those are sure pretty but I’m not sure I’d wear any of them afoot or on a horse in rough country. They all seem light on retention

These are not intended for horseback or rough country. These are for urban carry. I do have those for more strenuous activity:

That one is similar to the San Antonio Alamo Leatherworks rig I bought for my first Blackhawk in 1968.

Well, Cary, I'll try to recount what I was trying to do, if I can remember whatever it was I was trying to do.

As I recall, I was wanting to post a photo on Facebook. To do that, I have to have the photo on my Desktop and insert it from there. I had the photo in Facebook and tried to download to Desktop and was not abe to do that. So I did whatever I did to get that done.

OK, thanks Bob. I have lots of pictures on Photobucket and Imgur. But, I still have them on my PC in case those photo hosts go screwy. I don't trust them with photos I want to keep.
