No Deer, But Great Time...

I have hunted 7-days with my boy this year, and the only deer I've seen is a small buck within the Astoria city limits.

We've been all around the Coast Range as well as the Cascades.

But we did have some spectacular views.:cool:

Kudos on having spent time with your boy. The best part about hunting is the hunt,, not the kill. Time with a loved one is at the top of the list for pleasure in the hunt.

In that area I would be hunting on the outskirts of the little townships along the river. They are always around those places.
