OK....somebody help me out. When did Ruger change the trigger of their blue NM Blackhawk models (and blue Super Blackhawks?) to stainless? Recently I hope. Both of our 4-5/8" .44 Specials have a stainless trigger (520-17119 and 520-18298) as do both of our BN-414L .41 flattops (I suppose our 6-1/2" .41 flattops have it also but haven't checked).

Did this change just occur within the last year to 18 months or so? Or has it gone unnoticed for a much longer period?

Wow! That helps a little bit. Your sn places the change back to at least 2006 before even the change of the rollmark to the bottom of the barrel. Don't have one handy right now but does everybody's 50th Anniversary .357 flattop have a stainless trigger?
Will have to check our Old Vaqueros again also to see what they've got.

My 357 flattop has a blue trigger #520-06151

OK...getting closer, maybe?? I wonder if the later 50th anniversary .357's have a blue or stainless trigger? A high numbered .44/.357 matched pair would be good to check. Then....the 50th Anniversary .44 Flattops would be next to check...probably earliest first. Anybody know if the .357 and .44 FT triggers are the same size??

Hmmm. Might be another variation of 50th anniversary .44 flattop. Anybody got a higher number they can report? Blue or Stainelss trigger?
Any of the blue "cleanup" vaqueros higher than 58-96020 would also be good to look at for this.

Lipsey's 44 Spec. is stainless-Never noticed it before.

50th 44 Flattops
870-00621-already sold never looked.

Maybe Ruger made sure all the 50th flattops had a blued steel trigger. Or....I'm still not sure those triggers are a different size (from a standard blue blackhawk with adj. sights).
That's great though! Keep those sn's coming!
